I wish I would just blog every day. Like this past Saturday...when I should have written about planting barley! I did. I got it done, thanks to Gary Johnson and his grain drill. Or on Sunday...when Bodie and I went fishing on Bonaparte and caught an 11 pound lake trout! Or on Monday...when the whole family watched Korin's first every softball game! She did awesome, by the way. Or Tuesday...when some of us fellas ended up in Chesaw during a power outage. And it rained all day on my Barley!
Not to mention all last week...Science Camp with the 6th graders at Lost Lake...Memorial Day weekend, spending time with Marlene & Hans and their friends; and Doug & Cindy; harrowing the field and procuring seed from Doug Prichard.
And every day is a great day to brag about my kids and my wife. Korin's helpful attitude. Nicholas' academic emergence. Emma Lena's bold spirit. Annika's charming defiance. My beautiful wife's benevolence and patience.
Maybe tomorrow I'll blog again. About how green the lawn is...how I caught a gopher...how Tera and the kids spent the entire day Saturday planting potatoes, and Korin and Nicholas helped Maureen get their garden in, as well. (We were a true farming family that day!)
Maybe tomorrow I'll start writing, every day...you just never know with me...
