Update...two fields down; already rained on yesterday; more in the forecast for today.
But the sun has shone enough to motivate me to cultivate a little spot by the creek for recreating. The high water this year brought us a surprise...a crescent moon sand and gravel beach just across the driveway from the house. The kids have found much enjoyment there, giving themselves mud baths and wading in the creek. It is so fun to watch them play in Toroda Creek the way I remember playing in it when I was a kid. It is a true blessing.
