We Have Germination!

Well.  We did it.  We took one in the nose for the seed, rented a seed drill, pestered our neighbors and finally got some alfalfa in the ground.  It took two years of experimentation with the barley, but we got it done.  Then it got hot and dry and I was sure we were going to see the whole thing go all wrong.  But for Grace. At the moment it's raining and yesterday it rained too.  (The NWS said there was very little chance of precipitation both days!)  And what did my eyes behold yesterday, but grass and alfalfa breaking out of the soil.  Below is a photo of what I believe is sprouting alfalfa!  I can't but give the credit to the Father.  Thank you!
