So far so good! We had our first calf on Sunday and then another on Thursday. They were born to two of our older cows. Nicholas and I had the pleasure of meeting the white-face heifer first thing on Sunday Morning. Tera, Maureen and Annika met the little red bull calf just after he was born Thursday afternoon. Another of our older cows is due any time now. And we've got 4 first calf heifers yet to calve, as well. Two of them are getting pretty close!
Tera claims to be enjoying this experience. She and Maureen (and Annika) feed the cows together every morning. There is still hay in the barn and we've got some more lined up, just in case. Like I said, so far so good...

Hi guys. Um, this is like the coolest thing ever? I can't tell you how great it is to stumble upon a way to enjoy all of your company from afar, and with such good writing, great stories, and lovely pictures! Man, I miss everybody!
