Emma Lena's Art

Yesterday morning, the kids came to school with me again, so for the past few days I've had the chance to spend some unexpected time with them. On Tuesday I gave them each their own notebooks. Since then, Nicholas has started an involved story about a castle and Korin has kept hers a secret. Emma Lena drew pictures in hers the first day, but yesterday she forgot it in her backpack so she asked for a piece of paper and drew the above picture. I love the art of my little kids and I feel affirmed by the joy that their little caricatures show in their faces.
