For two days now I've tried to post some pictures of the goings-on around here.  But the iPad won't let me!  So, I'm settling for words. 

Picture number 1.  The big pan of homemade dog food I prepared for our ailing Lu-Lu, who suffered a trauma sometime this winter.  She's a hobbling mess.  Lower back a tangle of knots and twisted vertebrae.  I ground a beef heart and browned it.  Added water and rice and mixed veggies and simmered it until it looked good enough to eat.  She hoarks it down in no time.  Hopefully it rejuvenates her system and, along with the warmer weather, heals her right up.

Picture number 2.  Today we burnt off the dead grass this side of the the creek.  It's legitimate because of the growth that's spurred by the removal of the old and the warming of the soil.  Korin took a dandy picture, but the iPad is too sophisticated to post photos correctly orientated.  So you'll have to do with the words, until I get my chromebook in the mail on Thursday.
